I was struck by the shapes I saw (crescents, circles, squares) at Pudu Temple, a quiet, humble, and empty site just east of the (very) busy Forbidden City.
Looking outside a train window from Beijing to Shanghai, I noticed these recurring bundles of six cords created an image suggestive of the Star of David when bundled together.
The steep slopes/angles of the Great Wall allowed for interesting compositions. I would like to return someday to continue photographing/painting this architectural feat.
